**Baby Trend Trooper 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat – lightweight!
We own 2 of these and they are my recommendation for a travel car seat. They are super light to carry, and very easy to install/uninstall. If you install 2 across the backseat, there is room enough for a third person to sit, but not a tremendous amount. I *have* sat in there (as a large woman), but it wasn’t fabulous. Thinner people would be more comfortable, if you need the room for a third person.
**Ride Safer Travel Vest with Zipped Backpack-Wearable, Lightweight, Compact, and Portable Car Seat
We will more than likely invest in these at some point. I just hesitate at the cost ($$), but it would be a huge upgrade from carrying “real” carseats around the world. If you’ve taken the plunge, I would love to hear other people’s experiences with these products.

ONEDONE Portable Baby Child Potty Urinal Emergency Toilet
Even if you’re post-potty training (& especially if you’re in the thick of it!), having one of these in the car on a road trip can be invaluable. Let’s be honest: you’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Luka gets motion sickness very easily, even if there are only a tiny amount of twists and turns in the road. So products like this are a must for us. Twin moms, remember: even if only 1 child is motion sick, you’ll still need to buy enough for 2 (as usual lol) – the other twin is going to want theirs too 🙂
**Dramamine Kids Chewable, Motion Sickness Relief, Grape Flavor, 8 Count
This is our go-to product. I make sure to keep these tabs in stock constantly, because of Luka. I love that we usually don’t even have to stop the car when Luka starts to get uneasy. I can pull them out of my backpack, unwrap one and hand it back to him (or in younger years, pop it in his mouth). Within less than 2 minutes, the tablet will calm his tummy and we can continue driving normally. He has never refused one (thank you, grape flavoring). Note: be SURE you keep them in their original case, and don’t mix up the kids ones and adult ones. They are 2 very different drugs and should not be switched. [I am not a medical doctor; but that info is straight from our pediatrician]
